Putting Blue Bear in the home crowd

AI put the bear in the home crowd

For Blue Bear’s partnership with Cheltenham Town FC, we created a stadium film entirely with AI - recreating the familiar build-up to a match before revealing one supporter nobody expected to see.

Building a real matchday with AI

The film begins with the details supporters recognize immediately: fans arriving at the ground, the stadium entrance, views of the pitch and Cheltenham shirts prepared in the dressing room.

To make the AI-generated world feel authentic, we studied real footage and visual references from the stadium. Its architecture, club colors, merchandise and matchday atmosphere were recreated to make the film feel specific to Cheltenham - not like a generic football sequence with a badge added afterwards.

A reveal hiding in plain sight

Someone pulls on a Cheltenham scarf. The framing keeps their identity hidden until the supporter is revealed as the Blue Bear, wearing the club scarf and cheering with the crowd.

Placing the mascot directly among the fans made him feel like part of the matchday atmosphere - not a character added outside it.

One line brought the two worlds together

“You live football. We live storage.”

The line gave each brand a clear role. Cheltenham supporters bring the passion; Blue Bear brings the storage expertise.

Short enough to land immediately on a stadium LED screen, it also became the central message connecting the wider partnership.

Taking the bear beyond the screen

The character and message were extended across many channels including the stadium branding, brochure cover and A4/A5 displays.

In every execution, the Blue Bear appears wearing the same Cheltenham scarf and club merchandise. This created one consistent matchday identity across moving image, print and the physical stadium environment.

More than a sponsor logo

Instead of treating the partnership as a series of logo placements, we gave Blue Bear a recognizable role inside the club’s world: another supporter backing the Robins.

The result is a sponsorship identity that feels connected to the matchday experience—built around a mascot supporters can recognize wherever the brand appears.
