A website built for engineers, not browsers

The wrong assumption most industrial sites make

Most B2B websites are still designed like consumer stores, browse, get inspired, discover something you didn’t know you wanted. Nobody visits an inspection equipment specialist that way. A visitor here is an engineer with a specific problem, they need a borescope rated for a specific environment, or a drone that can inspect a specific structure, and they’ve usually already done their research before they land on the page.

Designing for a decision already half made

With decades of equipment, dozens of manufacturer brands, and services split across rental, sales, maintenance, training and custom R&D, the real UX challenge wasn’t making the site feel exciting. It was making it fast to confirm, does Inspectahire carry the thing I need, and can I get it rented, bought, or serviced without a phone call being the only way to find out.

A structure built around use case, not category

We designed the site around how a technical buyer actually searches, by brand, by inspection type, by service needed, rather than a generic product grid that assumes browsing behaviour that never happens here. Every path is built to get a specialist to a confident answer quickly.
